The JSEAS effort is a joint venture among the US Navy, US Air Force, and UK Ministry of Defense to develop safe escape and mission planning products for the JSF aircraft.
The JSEAS Software Developer will perform a variety of software development and maintenance activities for the Joint Safe Escape Analysis Solution (JSEAS) program. The focus for this position will be the design, development, unit test, and documentation of object oriented software sub-systems.
The Developer will apply documented project processes and tools to ensure that quality standards for development and configuration management are applied to the JSEAS software development effort. Documentation of the intermediate steps and products will be critical and the Developer will fully participate in preparation of support documentation including design specs, change request notes, action items, defect analysis, alternative analysis, unit level tests, and others.

Lunar Support Engineer II (Kennedy Space Center, FL)

Engineer supporting the KLXS contract serve as technical expert for the development, implementation, management, and support of Spacecraft Handling. Experience level: 4-10 years

This position is in support of NASA's Constellation Program and will be directly supporting the KSC Ground Operations Project Office. The successful candidate will support NASA in ground operations processing of Altair Lunar Lander spacecraft from Post-DD250 to launch. NASA will process Altair in an offline spacecraft facility including crew equipment checkout, high pressure gas and propellant servicing and Multiple Element Integrated Testing. Upon completion of these activities, NASA will encapsulate the Altair spacecraft in a payload fairing and mate the Altair spacecraft to Ares V. After an abbreviated integrated test between Earth Departure Stage and Altair spacecraft, the Ares V integrated stack will move to Pad 39B for launch and rendezvous with the Orion spacecraft.

This is considered a journeyman level engineering position. Responsibilities may include designing and developing plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems. May be required to provide guidance to less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, industrial, chemical, materials, computer, environmental, structures, thermal, safety, software, systems, handling, assembly, transportation of spacecraft and quality.

Frequently interacts with customers and/or other team members. Review/QC the energy savings and costs provided by the Energy Engineers for reasonableness based on past experience, metrics, and knowledge of the project. Review Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) provided by the Energy Engineers for technical and financial viability. Input other costs into the financial model including but not limited to general conditions, insurance, performance and payment bond costs, engineering, construction management, commissioning, and savings measurement and verification costs. Work with Measurement & Verification Engineers and Energy Engineers to develop cost-effective, risk appropriate M&V plan for the customer.

Proposal Writing and Review/QC: Senior Project Developer will be supported by a Proposal Administrator to review, edit, and assemble the proposal and Detailed Audit Documents. However, the Senior PD will "own" the document. Senior PD will write Executive Summaries making a strong business case for selection of , our project approach, and the Proposed ECMs. Also responsible for other financial/technical sections of the proposal. Review the ECM Write-Ups and other technical proposal sections provided by the Energy Engineers. Coordinate the proposal document strategy and tactics with the Account Executive.

Management and Coordination of Proposal Team: The Senior PD is responsible for managing the proposal team consisting of an Account Executive, Energy Engineer(s), a Lighting Auditor/Designer, Designers, a Construction Manager, and M&V Specialist. work experience requirements:
· A retired Warrant Officer desired but not required
· 20 plus years experience in Military Logistics
· Experience in National Level Operations
· Knowledge of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) document formats and codes
· Experience in Maintenance/Readiness Reporting
· Experienced on numerous logistics automated systems, including but not limited to: SARSS, SAMS, ULLS-G, PBUSE, ILAP, CCSS, SAMMS.
· Knowledge in Electronic Tech Manuals
· Knowledge in Logistical technologies such as Fedlog, MMDF, SNRF and I&S
· EVMS knowledge desired but not required
· SAP Modules (including but not limited to: MM, IM, WM, PM) desired but not required
· Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite
· SECRET CLEARANCE

education requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
General Description:
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Know LOGSA (LIW) processes.
Have the ability to support day to day activities for configuring the Tactical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation of the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) by providing logistical (supply and maintenance) information from a national (LOGSA(LIW),CCSS, LMP, SAMMS, BSM) point of view.
Be able to converse intelligently regarding logistical requirements for the national level while looking at every possibility for business process reengineering.
Analyze and configure Army tactical processes to determine best fit into commercial product with minimal, if any, outside programming.
Participate in the review of regulatory and other directives having logistics systems applications for consistency with Army logistics doctrine and determine the impact on the automated systems.
Assist in the development of management policies.


SALARY/BENEFITS:
$70-75K annually.
