Intelligence Community Technology Plans (ICTP) Task Manager will work as the tasking lead within ICTP’s Program Assessment (PA) team. • Review, coordinate, and prepare the final response to all PA assigned tasking

REQUIREMENTS

The Senior Communications Engineer is the project manager to coordinate the move of IT/IM systems from one facility to another. Provides overall management that will have several vendors supplying manpower, hardware and software support, outside plant cabling, and furniture installation. Reports to the ACS President while coordinating closely with the Site Manager, facility personnel, building construction contractor, and several federal agencies to plan, prepare and execute systems migration. Manages program cost, schedule, performance, risks, warranties, contracts and subcontracts and data required to satisfy the customer’s requirements. Maintains clear customer visibility into the program schedule, performance, and risk.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (duties and responsibilities and percentage of time spent performing functions).


Creates draft and implements the relocation plan, flow charts, schedules and checklists.
Manages vendors to ensure schedules and quality are met within specifications.
Develops and submit an ACS Quality Control Plan.
Prepares both inside and outside plant cabling plans.
Coordinates all system moves prior to executing a move with local and distant customers.
Prepares and completes systems testing and commissioning.
Develops and maintains a configuration management plan for all equipment to be built and operating systems to be moved.

If I am reading between the lines right on this one my customer is looking for someone that can help design and test a plan of action that can be put into a handbook for use by all responders. It would lay out how the military could or should respond to a major terrorist attack or natural disaster here in the states interacting with all of the different civil authorities and other military branches and agencies. The work is with an outstanding government DoD contractor. Below is some information on this work; it would start pretty quick if hired.
10. Senior Analyst/Engineer-Alexandria, VA
General Summary:
Performs a variety of engineering tasks, either independently or under supervision, which is broad in nature and are concerned with execution of Feasibility Study, Joint Testing & Evaluation, Testing & Evaluation or Quick Reaction Test. Must have at least a secret clearance.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and performs engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications. This individual may supervise engineer/analysts, be responsible for major technical/engineering projects of higher complexity and importance than those normally assigned to lower level engineers, and may coordinate the activities of Engineers and Technicians assigned to specific engineering projects. May be required to utilize advanced knowledge of modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines in determining solutions. Typically, for projects under this contract, Senior Analyst/Engineer disciplines require a level of expertise that is acquired from a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or other related technical field and experience in program management or test and evaluation.
