Position Description Description:
The Group Controller is responsible for all aspects of Corporate HR accounting including accounting for employee benefits, payroll and payroll taxes, and SOX. The Controller must ensure that each monthly close is completed with a high degree of accuracy, ensure our SOX program is robust, and oversee the process for all DOL/IRS filings for our significant benefit plans. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in operational accounting. They should have a broad working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Group Controller partners with the Corporate HR accounting policy manager to monitor emerging issues and to design appropriate implementation strategies for new rulings. The position also works closely with Corporate Controller’s Division and individual LOB Group Controllers’ across the company. The Group Controller manages a team of 10.

Additional duties may include: directing completion of complex accounting tasks pertaining to accounts, statements, systems and records; setting standards for and monitoring the review of financial statements and other documentation; creating and implementing controls to ensure accuracy of data; maintaining advanced knowledge of current accounting practices and regulatory requirements; enforcing adherence to internal and external accounting principles and policies; developing methodologies and implementing changes in internal accounting systems; planning, designing and directing the production of financial and regulatory reports; managing response and resolution to audit inquiries; influencing and negotiating with senior management on issues of policy or strategic direction; managing complex accounting projects in support of business goals.

Position Description In support of client mission, the Site Lead/Manager will supervise IT personnel and manage IT services and support for the operation of classified and unclassified information systems, including help desk.
The scope of the IT and Management support will include, but not limited to, the following:

o State-of-the-art, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) large business personal computer and server application software such as: disk operating systems, network operating systems, database administration, word processing, spread sheet accounting, etc., and software.
o Network system configuration and control based on DoD, DON and industry best practices. Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server, Cisco routers/switches, and Nokia firewalls are currently in use. Menu access to network based applications is via the Windows XP Professional graphical desktop Operating System. The contractor is responsible for the overall management of these systems.
o Maintaining disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and continuity of operations.

• Additional experience developing code written in SQL or PL/SQL is required.
• The candidate should have a proven expertise in the development of database schemas, as well as expertise in the performance tuning of Oracle databases (to include high-reliability configuration...i.e. DataGuard).
