SB7 has openings for qualified Weapons Technical Intelligence Analysts (WTI) (TECHINT) to work on the government-contractor team supporting the Counter-IED Targeting Program. CITP Analysts will conduct comprehensive research on complex insurgent and terrorist networks either independently or as part of a larger analytical effort. The analyst will develop analytical strategies produce CITP related assessments and target support packages in collaboration with analysts involved in the counter insurgency counter IED mission. Formal Service training as an all-source analyst required. Must have 5 to 8 years experience in the intelligence field at a tactical or strategic operational level. Senior - Bachelors degree desired. Knowledge of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) types characteristics and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Experience with analysis data mining tools: ArcGIS, CIDNE, WEBTAS, i2 Analyst s Notebook, Pathfinder. Military tactical and especially OIF OEF deployed experience is a plus. Experience supporting all-source analysis and fusion at the tactical through national levels is desired as well as having tactical and strategic experience.

Report will be use in Weekly Internal CALL Report (WICR) to highlight potential partnership opportunities.
o Attain and maintain situational awareness on like areas of interest and lessons learned activities between CALL and host organizations.
o Attend and participate in lessons learned conferences, in-progress reviews, working group meetings, workshops, video teleconferences and other related events in order to support analysis and on-going coordination and collaboration efforts.
o Requirement to attend up to eight (8) major events over a twelve (12) month period, 1 to 3 days in duration--four (4) of these events locally on site at host installation requiring no travel and the remaining four (4) events to be held at off site locations requiring CONUS travel. Participation will involve taking notes and participating in discussion related to lessons learned processes, integration requirements, and possible future collection opportunities.
o A close out "Event/Trip Report" with supporting documentation i.e. briefing slides, minutes, attendee rosters, or other related material will be submitted
o Research, analyze and provide written response to approximately four (4) Requests for Information (RFI) monthly at each host location.
o RFI responses are written replies accompanied by supporting documentation sent to the requestor through a CALL formal electronic RFI System.
o Responses will vary in difficultly and are time sensitive.
o The standard response time for an RFI submitted by a General Officer, a Senior Government Official or a theater deployed Military or Government Civilian will be within 24 hours from receipt. All other requests will be processed and response provided within 72 hours from receipt.
o Assemble for publication an annual Integration Newsletter at each liaison location focused on the combined operations between the Army and the Service of the host organization/agency.
o A newsletter is typically 60 -100 pages in length and is made up of 12 to 20 new and/or previously published articles.
o Task requires securing copy right and publishing/republishing authorizations and permissions, and conduct document conversion to Microsoft Word.
o Development cycle for a newsletter is 120 days from start to delivery and includes an outline briefing, a 50%, 75%, and a final In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with a designated Government representative.
o Identify, collect, research, develop and load approximately two (2) observations, insights, and lessons (OIL) from each host location into CALL's Collection and Observation Management System (CALLCOMS) and the Army's Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) monthly.
o CALLCOMS is a CALL application used to enter observations, insights, and lessons into an analyst SQL database.
o JLLIS is the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff's Joint Lessons Learned Program (JLLP) system of record.
o Government will provide training on CALL methodology, SharePoint, Automated RFI System, CALLIMS, CALLCOMS, JLLIS and CALL database related taxonomies and cataloging requirements.

Position Description
The individual will provide all subject matter expertise, management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to brainstorm, write and provide a technical scenario for Special Operation Forces (SOF) training based and current threats and real world data. The individual will be able to deploy and support 1st BN, 1st SFG (A) personnel in the development of a realistic scenario which will rehearse specific classified Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).

Candidate will provide a technical input training in support of Special Operations Threat Reduction Force to provide training to SOF.

Individual will have recent, within one year, experience running multi-national (combined) exercises within the Pacific Command’s (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR).

SCENARIO WRITING / GOALS:
• individual will provide subject matter expertise as related to exercise planning support in the areas of SOF intelligence, SOF ground and air operations, joint/combined staff operations, and joint, and inter-agency / multinational coordination
• provide expertise to script writing efforts, with the support of 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group staff, before during and after all Final Planning Conferences
• realistically script and represent message traffic from U.S. Government agencies, higher / adjacent / and subordinate military commands to include Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and regional governments following the specific exercise storyline, as would be the case in a real-world scenario
• Scenario must include SOF-specific TTPs relevant to the PACOM AOR
• provide advice, input and support to the Commander (CDR) and S3 during setup, preparation, execution and endex of exercises
• conduct planning sessions at SOCPAC on Camp Smith, Hawaii
• deploy to Sydney, Australia during the deployment portion of the exercise and shall remain in Australia through completion
• work with the director of the planning cell to provide advice and support during the actual conduct of the exercise
• goal is to exercise all levels of command, while focusing on using a real world scenario that allows maximum participation of all exercise participants
• perform required services as part of the Planning Cell for the duration of exercise VB Action 10-1 to ensure proper script management and exercise control

• Concept of the Operation (CONOPS) and Situation Report (SITREPS) from subordinate HQs may in some cases be replicated as well.

INTELLIGENCE REQUIREMENTS.
• scripted Threat and Friendly Forces scenario that is depicted within an integrated Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) and combine operations and intelligence Synchronization Matrix
• develop detailed message traffic from higher/adjacent/subordinate headquarters, US Embassies, Other US Agencies, and participating or affected National governments within the Area of Interest that will ensure a realistic, challenging and fluid exercise
• work with the S3 and S2 action officers to create data from the crisis area that is realistic and supports the scenario script and event matrix
• data accurately reflects current events in the region during the intelligence buildup preceding the exercise and during the execution of the exercise
• data derived from national intelligence and theater intelligence sources (CIA, DOS, etc.) shall accurately reflect products which are actually available for that region while supporting and adhering to the script and storyline
• Current JCS, PACOM and SOCPAC governing documents will guide 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group plans and actions
• timelines for assessments, concepts, approvals, etc., will be accurately depicted and adhered to throughout the course of the exercise
• script will conform to environmental, cultural, geographical, and political realities of the region, and be the driver behind the synchronization of action of all levels of US SOF units and headquarters (from the operational to the tactical) and their partner participating nation military units
• most material must be releasable to Participating Nation militaries
